The Beautiful Ms {O}

I have been slacking for a few weeks on the blog (alright it has been a full month or better hasn’t it :O )  I am sorry everyone. I am also short for words today :(  Part of it is because a lot of my work over the last month and a half has been dedicated to Valentine’s Day gift shoots so you can imagine I didn’t have a whole lot to show you! Here is my favorite of Ms O .. So happy she came in for a shoot, you are beautiful!!

A gift for any occasion

Mrs. {M} came to me because she wanted to do a shoot, as a gift to her husband. She shared that her husband a guy who has everything and is hard to buy for! So this statuesque bombshell gave him a surprise he was not expecting! A boudoir shoot for that special someone is always an appreciated gift for any occasion

Lovely Ms {W}

Miss W was referred to me through a colleague and friend. I was excited to fit her in last minute! Her fiance is on a deployment and wanted to do this for him as a gift!

Beautiful Miss {M}

So I write my blog posts weekly and then with a little help from my great friend Kandice, she perfects the wording for me because frankly I am a horrible writer! She is great with words, I am so thankful for her talents! So today I am writing and posting without her editing help, as she is in Las Vegas and getting married this Friday!! So Excited for her!! Have fun girl!! 😉

Today you will meet Miss {M} She was so much fun to work with she was excited and nervous at the same time totally normal I am sure you have heard me say that before.  So {M} was very quiet at first but as soon I lifted my camera and gave a little direction she started to glow and let go and had fun!! I remember her saying “I see why you like doing this it’s so much fun!”  I know I have said this before but the idea of playing dress up really does appeal to everyone!

“To start telling people that you’re beautiful, or just feel beautiful, just start acting like you are the most beautiful woman in the world. And it really improves everything! Because your sort of psyche responds to it – like this is truthful! “ ~ Margaret Cho

Giggly & Radiant

Meet Mrs. C she is fun giggly and really a great person! She came to me through Erica. Mrs. P is a Doula! She was a lot of fun to work with my favorite part was her giggle and although I imagine outside of the circumstances she is a truly happy and giggly person I imagine she was a little bit nervous! I can’t say I blame her! Everyone feels this way when the first come in to the studio for her session. Once you are there and having your hair and makeup done your nerves will calm! My staff is accustomed to the setting and the fact that you just might be running around in your bra and panties at some point during the day!

Check out the facebook picture i posted with her giggling.. one of my favorites!

and a short quote this week..

Hot Red Dress

I was ecstatic when Miss A contacted me to do a session. Recently married, she wanted to give her groom a late wedding gift.  For those of you who are getting married this makes a perfect groom’s gift, nothing will surprise him more than a little black book for him of alluring pictures of you. This will also help you feel even more self-confident and radiant for your wedding day!
She was a natural in front of the camera, and we had a ball doing this shoot. Her red dress was a hit with the camera. In photo shoots you can get away with wearing dresses that may seem too tight or too short for public use, and she rocked this dress! Don’t be afraid to bring such a dress to your photo-shoot it may be the little surprise that blows us away! We also did some photos with the wings I have, and she was mesmerizing!

“I don’t mind being burdened with being glamorous and sexual. Beauty and femininity are ageless and can’t be contrived, and glamour, although the manufacturers won’t like this, cannot be manufactured. Not real glamour; it’s based on femininity.”

In the spirit of Thanksgiving

I can’t believe it is the Wednesday before Thanksgiving already! This year has truly been crazy. Early this year I was still trying to grow my Lundmark Photography business and putting together a new and truly exciting brand. You can imagine what that brand was, since this is not the Lundmark photography blog. To say I am thankful would be a major understatement, because there are so many amazing things that have happened this year.

I began shooting Boudoir Soirees in a hotel (which I can’t thank the amazing people who helped me organize that monster) to shooting in a studio that me and my extremely talented colleague, Erica McCauley Birth Photography, share. I have fostered some great friendships with some fantastic, talented, beautiful women. Many who share the love, for the beauty of women, with the same passion I do.

I leave you with a quote from a beauty:
“The beauty of a woman is not in the clothes she wears, the figure that she carries, or the way she combs her hair. The beauty of a woman is seen in her eyes, because that is the doorway to her heart, the place where love resides. True beauty in a woman is reflected in her soul. It’s the caring that she lovingly gives the passion that she shows & the beauty of a woman only grows with passing years.”
~Audrey Hepburn

And a beauty from a recent shoot 😀

A Beautiful Soul

I am at a loss for words today but I wanted to share the beautiful and fun loving Mrs. K. She came to me through my Boudoir Soiree I had during the State Fair at the studio not at the fair lol.. just thought I should clarify!  I am amazed by this girl, she is beautiful and has a very giving soul. So for her to do this for herself I commend her for finding the time with her busy life, and I am sure glad she did!

The June Soiree and maybe neglect on my part

I have been neglecting my website terribly much. I want to say sorry for the neglect.We have been so busy getting the studio ready for sessions that I haven’t taken the time to share with you all that has been going on with my business that I love and my life.

So this post needs to be about the lovely ladies from my June soiree which happened about a month ago. The event I have been hosting at the Vegas Hotel since I started this journey. I have to say my thanks to Wendy and staff for allowing me to do these in the Beautiful honeymoon suite, as much as I loved the suite the thought of not having to lug tons of equipment up and down 3 flights of stairs is frankly exhilarating, not to say I wont ever shoot in a hotel again just not as often! So to the Honeymoon suite at The vegas and the Staff I say thank you!

Now I know I haven’t officially announced on my web page yet I am here to say I am thrilled, excited, and maybe a little nervous to officially have a studio that I share with an wonderful, talented a true friend Erica McCauley, you can find her on Facebook She specializes in Birth and Newborn Photography, check her out if you are expecting it is totally worth it! You can find us at the Bricks building 400 East Central Ave Suite 104, Minot, ND!!!!!

And now without further ado the Lovely ladies of June, I normally dedicate a post to each gal, I am sorry for being so behind love you all!! 😀

First is the Beautiful Kati!! She found me through the Bridal show I attended in January! Her eyes are stunning Right!!

Brandi found me while She and her husband were stationed in Hawaii, she knew they would be transferring here and since I had an opening she took it even though she had been here barely a week!!

I adored this outfit on Lacie, it really brought out that french feel with the black and white lace, the pearls and the flower hair clip which was made by a gal here in town Valerie Jordan you can find her on Facebook too!

Love this Girl! Her taste in shoes is totally rad she had a pair of green Iron fist shoes and the name of those particular heels were called “Zombie Stompers” yes my dear you heard me right haha!!

And of course though Laci and Kami each had their own session but I had to get one of the two of them together :D!!

I hope you keep up with me and one day decide to do this for yourself it is so much fun 😀

I think, and so far everyone has agreed!
